　　四级作文命题一直坚持着“稳中求变”的原则。作文命题一直围绕着大学生的生活和学习。话题大多是大学生所熟悉的内容，因此，考生在写作过程中的英语思维表达能力就显得尤为重要了。

　　阅读经典书籍对人的成长至关重要，但现在愿意阅读经典的人却越来越少。这个问题值得我们去深思。

　　It is well-known that reading classics plays a significant role to one’s growing. As positive results of human history, classics can teach us what to do and how to do to live a valuable life. For example, it was reading classics through his life that helped Chairman Mao become the first famous chairman of PRC.

　　However, nowadays people who enjoy reading classics are getting less and less. There are a lot of reasons contributing to it. To begin with, most classics are hard to understand both in language and contents because of their focus on the past. Just take the Analects of Confucius as an example; it is impossible for people without enough knowledge of China ancient language to comprehend it thoroughly. What’s more, people are likely fond of modern life, but the old media devices cannot provide more fun than classics. Last but not the least, today people’s living rhythm is so strong that they have little spare time for reading classics.

　　In my opinion, we university students should take some effective actions to prevent the tendency. We should read classics as many as possible in our spare time, and we shouldn’t just scan those words and phrases over our minds but use our heads to think more about their real meaning based on our current life. In addition, we should also advocate to the public the importance of classics so that an increasing number of general people can enjoy the pleasure of reading.
