　　Yesterday Today and Tomorrow 昨天今天还有明天

　　There are two days in every week about which we should not worry, two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension. One of it is Yesterday, with its mistakes and cares, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back Yesterday. We cannot undo a single act we performed. Nor can we erase a single word we said - Yesterday is gone!

　　每个星期有两天我们不用担心，没有恐惧，没有忧愁。其中一天是“昨天”，有过失和忧虑、辛酸和痛苦。昨天已是过眼烟云。再也无法掌控。世上所有的金钱都无法将其挽回。我们既不能为过去做过的事反悔，也不能收回我们说过的每一句话，因为昨日已逝。

　　The other day we shouldn't worry about is Tomorrow with its impossible adversities, its burdens, its large promise and poor performance. Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control. Tomorrow's sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds - but it will rise. Until it does, we have no stake in Tomorrow, for it is yet unborn.

　　另一天无须担心的是“明天”。明天可能伴有逆境、责任，又充满希望和不测。明天同样无法立刻掌控。明天的太阳依然升起，不管是光芒四射还是笼罩着云彩，它一定会升起来。待它升起之前，我们对明天没有任何把握，因为一切都未开始。

　　This leaves only one day - Today. Any man can fight the battles of just one day; it is only when you or I add the burdens of those two awful eternities- Yesterday and Tomorrow- that we break down.It is not the experience of Today that drives man mad.It is remorse or bitterness for something which happened Yesterday, and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring.

　　这就仅剩一天——“今天”。任何人都只能生活在“今天“。若你我背负起永远存在的“昨天”和“明天”所带来的压力，我们就会被压垮。

　　Let us, therefore, live One Day at a Time!

　　译文：使一个人发疯的不是“今天“的境遇，而是“昨天”的懊悔或痛苦以及对“明天”的恐惧。因此，让我们过好生活的每一天。
