　　到2050年，我国65岁以上的人口将达到总人口数的约四分之一。由于死亡率(mortality rate)的降低和计划生育政策(the One Child Policy)，中国人口正在高速老龄化。这将给中国政府带来养老金难题，而且可能会降低中国未来的竞争力。随着我国社会经济的迅猛发展,人民生活水平提高了,医疗卫生服务也得到了改善。不少人对我国日益增多的老年人口表示十分担忧。但有专家指出，一旦我们看到人口老龄化背后所蕴藏的贸易契机和丰富的才智经验，就会意识到老龄化虽然给我们带来了巨大的压力，但是我们可以将压力转化为机遇。

　　By 2050 about a quarter of the total population inChina will be over 65 years old.The Chinesepopulation is rapidly ageing,due to a lowermortality rate and the One Child Policy.This will leadto a pension problem for the Chinese governmentand may reduce China's competitiveness in the future.With the rapid development of oursociety and economy，people's living standard and medical and health service areimproved.Many people are severely concerned about the increasing number of older people.Butsome experts say that though it brings us enormous pressure, we can transform thepressure into opportunity when we realize the trade opportunity behind it and abundantresources such as intelligence and experience.
