　　Directions: For this part，you are allowed 30 minutes to write a news report to your local newspaper on a volunteer activity organized by your Student Union of visiting a local farm. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.

　　Visiting a Local Farm

　　Recently, a volunteer activity has been organized by the Student Union to visit a local farm, which is beyond doubt an impressive experience for me.

　　Several details about this activity can be listed as follows. To begin with, we set out from our college by bus at 8:00 a.m. and returned at 5:00 p.m. with the aim of experiencing the life of a farmer. Besides, we were accompanied by our teachers to the local farm where there are a host of plants and animals. Last, we learnt how to grow plants, pick fruits and feed animals under instructions, which is interesting and unforgettable to us.

　　Above all, it is a meaningful and thought-provoking experience for me. Through participating in this type of activity, I come to realize that we are supposed to pay homage to farmers who provide food with toil and moil and that we should appreciate what they have done for us.
