　　Directions: For this part，you are allowed 30 minutes to write a news report to your local newspaper on a volunteer activity organized by your Student Union of visiting Hope Elementary School. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.

　　A Visit to Hope Elementary School

　　Children, our future generation, should be given enough attention. This Saturday, our Student Union organized a visit to Hope Elementary School to help those children in need.

　　We chose one of our local Hope Elementary Schools where approximately 2000 children live and receive education. We arrived there at 8 a.m., and were welcomed by the joyful children. First of all, we distributed some life necessities, such as clothes and food to every child, since the living condition of these children is not as satisfying as that of other schools. Then, through some talks, we learned that most of the children’s parents worked in big cities, who could hardly spare time to accompany them. Therefore, we taught these children to write letters to their parents to express their love. At the end of the day, we also invited children to play games with us, which brought them a lot of fun.

　　There are still more children living in poor or remote areas who need us to offer a helping hand. It is imperative that we should frequently organize such meaningful activities to deliver our help to these children, and at the same time, enhance public awareness of caring about the growth of our future generation.
