　　Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to a news report to your campus newspaper on a visit to a local farm organized by your Student Union. You should write at least 120 words not more than 180 words.

　　A Report on the Volunteer Activity of Visiting the Local Farm

　　For the purpose of enriching our extracurricular life, the Students’ Union, with the assistance of our university, held a public service activity last week - a tour to the local farm.

　　All the volunteers, including teachers and students, gathered at 8:00 A.M. on June 9th, 2019, setting off to the Hope Farm at 8:30 A.M. The organizer, the president of the Students’ Union, arranged a tour bus in advance, so we all spent a nice journey with the songs, laughter and sunshine all the way there. Once we reached our destination, a farmer, an amiable and enthusiastic middle-aged uncle, showed us around his farm – the plough, the plants – and then took us to feed some cute animals, such as horses, pigs and ducks, which, to the undergraduates like us, is a newand fantastic experience. At the end of the adventure, we as well as all the farmers enjoyed the local delicacy provided by them and took a group photo.

　　Not only can participating in such an activity expand our horizons, but enable us to taste the farmers’ toil as well. The memory of the activity will linger in my mind always.
