　　总述：本次四级写作题目“the challenges of living in a big city/studying abroad/starting a career after graduation”，涵盖到了社会热点类话题和教育文化类话题。三个题目的共同点在于中心词“challenges”，而题目后半部分的“居住在大城市”，“出国留学”，“毕业后就业”的变化，使第一个题为社会类考题，而后两个题为教育类考题。须留意的是，三个考题和当代大学生都息息相关，“出国留学”“就业”自不必说，而第一个题“居住在大城市”也与大学生十分有关联，因为大学毕业生一毕业就面领着去大城市找工作以及居住在大城市的问题。所以本次四级考试的三个作文题实则都紧紧围绕着当代大学生的毕业选择以及相关内容进行考察。

　　第一段：首段的写作任务一般来说是给出简短的背景介绍和分析，比如介绍最近几年大学毕业生数量的增多，毕业生的就业、择业、创业上选择的多元化。哪怕写第一个考题看似和大学毕业生关联性较弱，最好也结合大学毕业生的毕业选择(很多毕业生选择去大城市工作和居住)去写。

　　第二段：核心段要围绕着challenges平行展开两到三个论点，要具体阐述大学毕业生去大城市生活，出国留学或者就业会面临的挑战。比如去大城市生活可能面对的房租房价的压力，出国留学可能面对的文化差异的挑战，自主创业可能面对的资金短缺的挑战。由于四级作文的篇幅限制，只需要写两到三个论点即可。

　　第三段：第三段的写作任务是就第二段的挑战和问题提出合理的解决方法，不必很具体化，言简意赅地收尾。比如让大学毕业生在做出创业选择前三思(think twice)或简单给出建议或重申文章主题。

　　总结：本次四级作文考试作文题目比较简单，话题是考生们所熟悉的社会和教育类考题，话题和当代大学生息息相关，比较容易思考出相关的论点。

　　The challenge of starting a career after graduation

　　Finding a job after graduation is no longer the only choice students have, and it’s no rare phenomenon that numerous students seek to start their own business. Though the path of starting a career is full of challenges, students are still willing to give it a try.

　　First, establishing one’s own career inevitably involves risks in many aspects due to uncertainties. However, risks and uncertainties should not become obstacles for ambitious young people. Fail as they may, they have a better chance of achieving success after accumulation of experience. Besides, a person’s comprehensive abilities will be greatly improved in the process of starting a career, because overcoming difficulties can only make people stronger. It's no exaggeration to say that starting a career is conducive to bringing one’s potential and talents into full play.

　　No matter what difficulties we may encounter in this process, we are supposed to give ourselves confidence and believe that nothing is difficult for a person with ambitions and dreams.

　　The challenges of studying abroad

　　As the society becomes increasingly developed, studying abroad has recently become a trend among students, especially those who are born into affluent family. Fascinating as pursuing education abroad sounds, it is admitted that there exist numerous challenges of studying abroad.

　　First and foremost, faced with a totally different culture, students are made to adapt themselves promptly to brand new environmental, academic and cultural elements. Unlike their peers at home, those who study in foreign countries are expected to deal with life situations by themselves, which pose a great challenge to their independent ability. Besides, language is another challenge of studying abroad. Their language competence plays a decisive part in their adaptation to overseas life as well as their study. Most importantly of all, living abroad means to face problems on their own. Therefore, how to deal with stress is of essential significance.

　　Based on what has been mentioned above, it can be known that studying abroad is intriguing but challenging to students’ independent ability, language ability as well as their ability to deal with mental problems like loneliness and stress.
