　　今年的四级写作部分一反常态，考的体裁是几乎从未遇见过的新闻报道，属于应用文的一种。但是万变不离其宗，命题人依旧是想考查学生对一件事的叙述表达能力。因此，还是可以沿用过去的思路与写作结构。但有所不同的是，新闻报道有其特殊性，比如有标题，首段需要清楚地概括、介绍活动的主要内容-----时间、地点、人物、事件。

　　因此本次文章可以用以下的思路进行写作

　　标题：XXXXX

　　开头：时间，地点，人物，事件

　　中间段：1、活动细节一

　　2、活动细节二

　　3、活动细节三

　　结尾：总结上文活动

　　提炼活动的意义所在

　　展望未来，希望此类活动可以多多举办

　　作文一：

　　For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a news report to your school newspaper on a volunteer activity organized by your Student Union to help elderly people in the neighborhood .You should write at least 120 words not more than 180 words.

　　A Visit to the Nursing Home

　　To assist the elderly, our school had organized 40 volunteers to visit the nearby nursing home last Sunday. Here are the details of the activity.

　　Before the trip, students had prepared numerous donations for elderly people such as clothes, daily necessities, money and so on, for the purpose of upturning their living standards. As soon as the students arrived in the afternoon, they cleaned every corner of the house, making sure their living environment was comfortable enough. Besides, all the facilities broken were well repaired, just same as new ones. When sun went down, the students cooked a wonderful dinner for the old, and told jokes during the meal. After that, the volunteers prepared fantastic programs which really entertained them a lot.

　　To sum up, the activity is of great significance, which not only improved their living standards, but also enriched the spiritual life. Thus, we hope activities of the kind to be held more frequently.

　　A Visit to a Hope Elementary School

　　Last Sunday, the Student Union organized a voluntary activity which called for a group of students to pay a visit to a Hope elementary school from a rural area in Yunnan province to offer assistance.The details are as follows.

　　They raised a charitable donation to collect second-hand clothes, daily necessities and money to improve their living standards before setting out. When arrived, the volunteers were so eager to befriend the children there that they introduced themselves immediately and organized an interesting game at the same time. After lunch, the students began to teach the kids numerous knowledge from different subjects such as math, physics, arts for the whole afternoon. Before leaving, volunteers took group photos and embrace with the kids, which was really touching.

　　All in all, this trip to the Hope elementary school means a lot. On the one hand, it offered the children necessities they badly needed; on the other hand, this activities really enhanced volunteers’ sense of responsibility. It would be great to see more such voluntary activity held to help more children in rural areas.

　　The Student Union organized 50 students to visit a local farm last Saturday, which is situated in the suburb of the city, surrounded with mountains, as a famous tourist destination.

　　Once the students arrived, the beautiful scenery---pure blue sky and endless green grassland---came into sight, which undoubtedly marveled them. Then, the students wandered around the farm and took a close look at sheep and cows with the guidance of the farm’s owner. When dinner came, they tasted local cuisines like organic vegetables and a variety of snacks.What’s more, the students saw the process of the production of milk, which broadened their horizons.

　　In a word, this trip would always be memorized for the lessons it taught and the great experience in the nature it brought to the students. It would be better to see more of this activity to be held in the future.
