　　The northern parts of the United States get very coldin the winter. It snows a great deal and thetemperature often goes below zero degrees inJanuary, February and March. But [29]thenortheastern and north-central regions of thecountry have been financial and industrialcenters, and they are heavily populated. In recentyears, [29]people in these regions have begun to take vacations during these coldwinter months. They go to southern parts of the country where it is warmer.
